At Virtually Good Trivia, we want to connect long distance friends in a battle of wits.

During the 2020 pandemic, Leanne Mersmann decided to conduct a virtual fundraiser for dementia research. She used free online tools to pit her friends against each other across four different time zones and raised nearly $1,000.
​
Leanne had a knack for hosting. She started running monthly trivia games for her friends as a way to stay in touch. When everyone was allowed to meet in person again, she found that bar trivia scene wasn't for her anymore. Going out on a week night? No way!
